When we visited Skye in April, 2003, we stayed at a cottage about midway up on the northeast side of the island, under a "mountain" (?) called Ben Tianavaig. The attached are pictures I took when my wife and I climbed the hill.
Hilding, I've not been lucky enough to visit the Isle of Skye, but have gazed at it from the harbor. If my sister and I ever get back, we want to visit the Isles of Skye and Arran (and a lot in between) Thanks for another set of beautiful pictures!
So very beautiful and peaceful looking Hilding. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us. All our visit Scotland was concentrated in the central and western parts so must return one day and take in the north and east coasts. Currently can only dream and enjoy someone elses wonderful pictures. Best Annemarie
Quite beautiful and peaceful. Restored me to calm after a harassing morning chasing cobwebs and worse - sorting muddle. How Ii missed that posting I do not understand. After reading Columba I thought Skye a rather grim place, but not at all. Jane
