FACT OF THE DAY MERMAID ON SHORE From Australian Correspondent Hemlock MacHolmes
Today the first of May started like most days for retired Marine salvage engineer Mr Rabbie Mac Sporran and his Wife Gertrude. They live in a small village called Upthe Creek in southern Victoria. After breakfast they left with their dog for a normal morning walk along the river bank and after a half mile or so the dog became quite agitated , so Rabbie let her off her lead and she ran ahead. After five minutes or so they heard the dog barking loudly; they found her in the mangrove swamp standing over what looked like a body, as they got closer they near went into shock, Rabbie started to take photos with his new mobile phone and suddenly two men dressed in black suits, black hats and dark sunglasses approached them and identified themselves as X-MEN, Rabbie and Gertrude were ordered to leave the area and say nothing of what they had seen. Fortunately the X-MEN had not noticed the phone camera and we have obtained these copies.
