Attached are some photos taken on my recent trip to Scotland. The weather was beautiful and I saw Scotland at her most beautiful.
Ardvreck Castle is where James Graham (Montrose) was betrayed.
St Duthus Chapen in Tain, is where The Bruce's family were taken prisoner in 1307.
I've included one of The Bruce at Bannockburn with (what I was told) was Gillies Hill in the background.

Jim, what beautiful photographs. I can confirm that without doubt that the hill in the background of the Bruce monument is Gillies Hill. The quarrying is the opposite side of the hill. hopefully the conglomerate will be defeated in their plans

Thanks for the confirmation George, I thought it was Gillies Hill but couldn't be certain so thanks again.
