One of those things George --- he was tired of just 'chat' as he put it with no, or little, Tranter.

it is too bad that he didn't jump in with an answer to a question or comment on one when questions about Nigels work was mentioned over the last couple of yrs.
I know I asked a 'very few questions' over the time with no one picking up on it so gave up.

same experience as Annemarie, PEBBLES IN THE POND - did not find remarks about any of Nigel's books that was reading caused a ripple, so turned to other subjects.
But of course it is the ease of the REPLY button that gets us into bad ways, as well as generating long tails.  Some of us have oneanothers' addresses anyway and should scroll down our lists and address to them only, but we are lazy, or toobusy, and we don't.  Sometimes we should scroll down our lists to Nigek- - - - and put a different subject heading but we are lazy, or toobusy, and we don't. Apologies for these offences.  Jane
