I'd like to recommend to readers an Irish group called Celtic Woman - five women singers (one of whom also plays the harp) and a violinist, together with their male music arranger and orchestra conductor. They have truly beautiful voices and sing a mixture of traditional Irish songs plus other modern and traditional items, both sung and instrumental. They have a great orchestra too and the arrangements are excellent. There are two DVDs available plus at least one group CD and I think some individual CDs. There is also a Southern Hemisphere connection now as New Zealand singer Hayley Westenra (who has Irish ancestry) has joined them.
