Dear Patriots,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hogmanay.

It has been an interesting year, with Scotland shifting in stance, and Im sure the race memory of our forefathers, and all that they believed in, has helped make our people do what is best for their nation.

Im hoping that 2008 takes us further towards the goals that Wallace strived so hard in life for. And not only in life. He, and many tens of thousands of his companions, were willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice for Scotland.

I hope at the bells you will raise a glass and say a few words to his, and his followers memory, and that 2008 proves to be a fruitful year in our nations destiny.

May the spirit of Wallace be with you, with all of Scotland in this coming year.

At the January meeting I intend to do a short slide show, and start teaching the newer members various aspects of the life of Wallace.

Saor Alba.

                    Yours for Scotland,

                                  David R. Ross,

                                                                  Convenor.
